Europe Hotels Private Collection (EHPC) is an independent hotel company based in Amsterdam and founded by entrepreneur Liran Wizman. EHPC has been transforming the boutique hospitality scene across Europe by creating locally inspired concepts and brands in dynamic locations, bringing an artful touch and fresh energy to the neighbourhoods in which they operate. EHPC manages a portfolio of individually designed hotels including the contemporary design-led lifestyle brand Sir hotels with hotels in Amsterdam, Berlin, Hamburg, Ibiza and Barcelona, the Park Hotel in Amsterdam, the Park Hotel in The Hague, as well as Max Brown Hotels in Amsterdam, Berlin, Düsseldorf and Vienna. Additionally, the EHPC collection includes a concept store, X BANK and handles asset management for W Amsterdam by Marriott International.

 

 For our German & Austrian region we are looking for a:

 

REGIONAL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

LOCATION: BERLIN

 

The Regional Operations Director (ROD) takes a key role to the success of the hotel brands. You translate the Regional Business Strategy into operational plans, budgets and goals for Hotel Managers within the German and Austrian region (currently 5 hotels and 1 hotel in development in Berlin). The ROD provides strategic leadership and day to day direction to Hotel Managers to ensure that they achieve their goals and objectives. In this role you report to the CEO of EHPC and work closely alongside with the Regional Team and HQ overhead functions.

 

What else comes with it?

  • Work closely with the Project Manager, GM and Regional Chief Engineer during pre-opening phase and renovation projects, monitor planning & budget to ensure the hotels (re)open on time;

  • Organize and take the lead in monthly regional meetings and yearly budget sessions;

  • Initiate and monitor activities to correct deviations to corporate expectations and hotel objectives;

  • Establish accountability, identify primary issues and/or problems and resolve them quickly and effectively, taking ownership of decisions and strategic plans;

  • Being a brand ambassador by living and communicating the brand promises & values of Sir Hotels and Max Brown Hotels;

  • Ensure pre and post promotional activation through marketing tools is executed and followed up in service  &  quality to guest;

  • Keep the team informed of new (local) business opportunities and development in the region, encouraging the flow of strategic and service planning at all levels within the organization.

 



Requirements

WHO ARE YOU?

You are a born strategic leader who has vision, makes him/herself heard, shows initiative, is flexible and able to carry an international team in a young and fast growing company. You have the ability to appreciate “the big picture”, whilst having a talent for detail & an inherent thoroughness in task approach, follow-up & completion. Our ideal candidate is an energetic doer, diplomat and negotiator whilst observational; keeping a clear head and keen sense in difficult situations with superb time management & organizational skills.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor degree with an additional education in hospitality;;

  • 5 till 10 years’ experience in a similar leadership role with a track record of achieving results through coaching and development of people;;

  • Hospitality background within a multi property and multi brand organization and passion for hotel lifestyle boutique brands;

  • Additional experience with (pre) openings/renovation projects;

  • A strong inspirational leader with a proactive hands-on mentality;

  • Excellent social and strong interpersonal skills;

  • You are commercial, revenue-minded, (financial) tech-savvy and strategic;

  • Exceptional German and English communication skills, both verbal and written, other languages are very welcome!
