This position allows you to have a very challenging job at a beautiful location in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam. You will be working at our Headquarters, which is the pumping heart of our rapidly growing independent hotel management company. Europe Hotels Private Collection creates locally rooted storytelling hotel concepts in strategic locations in Amsterdam and key destinations in Europe. Your role

As Groups, Meeting & Events Coordinator (Germany) you will be responsible for creating unique event experiences and maximizing sales within our department. As soon as the contract is signed, you bring in all your organizational talent to organize the groups and events into the tiniest detail for all our German properties. You will be working from our Headquarters located in vibrant Amsterdam and will deal with:

  • Selling all the possibilities that our hotels have to offer
  • Translating the wishes of our guests into actions and exceeding them
  • Quoting prices
  • Making the event possible
  • Taking work out of hands from the guest
  • Thinking along, showing initiative and coming up with solutions
  • Taking care of a clear handover towards the operational teams
  • Financial related tasks as preparing invoices, proformas, commission handling, etc.
  • Understanding reports with regards to conversion and revenues
  • After sales calls


Our ideal candidate

Our ideal candidate is a real ‘sales tiger’ who is used to work in a team. You show initiative and are flexible to adapt to fast-changing situations. You have flair and cannot wait to give the commercial activities of the department a boost. In short, you have:

  • An MBO degree;
  • 1-2 year work experience within the hotel or hospitality industry, experience in Reservations or Groups, Meeting & Events is a pré;
  • Excellent German and English skills, both verbal and written;
  • Super commercial and social skills which you love to use while working;
  • A keen eye for details;
  • A passion for hospitality;
  • The good feature to work independently as well as in a team;
  • Preferably knowledge of a property management system;
